Who we are
Charlie Mack Salon is a collection of highly passionate and creative stylists who love what they do. The salon is located just minutes away from the Twin Cities in historical downtown Carver, Minnesota. Originally built around 1880 as a fire hall and part-time jail, it now serves as a high-end salon with small town charm.

Sally’s story
Sally Knapp graduated beauty school in 1999 and as she worked in different salons, she tucked away her favorite things about each one. In 2020, she knew she was ready to have her own space when a special building in Carver caught her eye. She was mountain biking with her son Charlie when she heard the Holy Spirit say, “Buy the building”. So, in the middle of a pandemic, she and her family took a leap of faith and bought the building.
Charlie Mack Salon truly is a family affair. It is named after Sally’s two children, Charlie and Mackenzie, and was renovated by Sally’s husband Ryan and his company Knapp Custom Builders. Her family’s constant love and support made it possible for Sally to turn a historical fire hall into the high end salon it is today.
